How should driveway drainage be considered?
Surface water needs somewhere to go, whether that's a permeable surface allowing water to soak through, or a bound surface laid to falls towards a drainage point. The right approach depends on your ground conditions, the surface chosen and the layout of your property, and it's something we look at as part of assessing any project.
Does an existing driveway need to be removed?
Sometimes, and sometimes not. In certain cases a new surface can be laid over an existing one if it's sound and stable, while in other cases removal and a new sub-base is the more suitable approach. This is assessed on a property-by-property basis.
How long can driveway installation take?
